REUNION EAST & REUNION WEST 

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT 

 

The joint workshop meeting of the Board of Supervisors of the Reunion East Community 
Development District and Reunion West Community Development District was held on Thursday, 
July 9, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. via Zoom Communication Media Technology and at the Heritage 
Crossing Community Center, 7715 Heritage Crossing Way, Reunion, Florida.

FIRST ORDER OF BUSINESS Roll Call 

 Ms. Adams started the workshop at 10:33 a.m. and called the roll. The Board of Supervisors 
for Reunion East CDD and Reunion West CDD discussed the following items at their workshop 
meeting on July 9, 2026. 


SECOND ORDER OF BUSINESS Public Comment Period 

 There being no comments, the next item followed. 

 

THIRD ORDER OF BUSINESS Discussion of Preliminary 2027 
Replacement and Maintenance (R&M) 
Project List and Five-Year Projected 
R&M Costs 

 The Boards reviewed the preliminary Fiscal Year 2027 Replacement and Maintenance 
(R&M) project list and projected five-year capital maintenance needs. Discussion focused on 
project priorities, anticipated costs, and updates to the planning list. 

 

FOURTH ORDER OF BUSINESS Review of Fiscal Year 2027 Budget 
Scenarios Assuming Revision of Interlocal 
Cost Sharing Agreement (Discussion 
Only) 

 The workshop included discussion of preliminary Fiscal Year 2027 budget scenarios 
assuming revisions to the existing interlocal cost-sharing agreement. The discussion focused on 
alternative methods for allocating amenity-related costs between the Districts. No direction or 
action was taken. 

 

FIFTH ORDER OF BUSINESS Discussion of Interlocal Agreement 
between Reunion East CDD and Reunion 
West CDD 

 The Boards discussed the existing Interlocal Agreement between Reunion East CDD and 
Reunion West CDD and potential revisions related to shared services and cost allocation. The 
discussion was informational only and discussion regarding feasibility of merging the Districts 
was discussed. 

 

SIXTH ORDER OF BUSINESS Discussion of Fiscal Year 2027 Joint 
Workshop Meeting Schedule 

 The Boards discussed establishing recurring joint workshops every other month, generally 
from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., coordinated with the regular Board meeting schedule. 

 

 


SEVENTH ORDER OF BUSINESS Supervisor’s Request 

 During Board discussion, staff noted updates to the draft R&M planning list including 
adding the Reunion East CDD sidewalk project, adding funding for the Sinclair Roadway project, 
revising the White Marsh Way enhanced parking estimate, and updating the tree inventory item to 
reflect asset management software. Potential agenda items for the October joint workshop include 
review of the reserve study, updated budget scenarios incorporating amenity cost sharing, and 
discussion regarding the feasibility of a CDD merger, with supporting materials to be prepared by 
staff and District Counsel. 

 

EIGTH ORDER OF BUSINESS Closed Security Session 

 A closed security session was conducted in accordance with applicable law. No action was 
taken during the public workshop regarding security matters. 

 

NINTH ORDER OF BUSINESS Public Comment Period 

 There being no comments, the next item followed. 

 

TENTH ORDER OF BUSINESS Adjournment
